Functional Analyst is part of a project implementation team, who is responsible for ANALYZING client’s current and to-be processes, ASSESSING the business process model, its integration with technology and RECOMMENDS best-practice solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between IT and business stakeholders, ensuring successful project delivery.
As a Functional Analyst, it requires good communication skills when collaborating with the customer. As a technical position, this role requires understanding of the functionalities of the Planning software. Position is WORK-FROM-HOME with an occasional client visit.
We are looking for a Junior Functional Analyst to support the implementation of finance and enterprise systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with users, translating business needs into system solutions, and being involved in the full project lifecycle—from configuration to go-live.
You will work closely with consultants, developers, and clients to ensure solutions are configured correctly, tested thoroughly, and adopted successfully by end users.
Responsibilities
- Configures the no-code setup of the solution, and coordinates with development team for back-end customizations.
- Supports the data gathering phase and creates the user stories.
- Leads the Unit Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of the system.
- Creates the User Manual and other project documents.
- Tains end users on how to navigate the system.
- Supports the go-live phase of project implementations.

Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Basic understanding of business processes, preferably in finance, accounting, or enterprise systems.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to document requirements, processes, and user instructions clearly.
- Willingness to learn new systems and technologies
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with multiple stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Exposure to or interest in ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Excel, or data analysis tools
- Experience with UAT, system testing, or documentation Familiarity with Anaplan, Odoo, or financial planning systems
- Internship or project experience in software implementation or business analysis.
